STRIP SHOT OF MGM GRAND

Vegas is a great place to gather the family or your friends and enjoy fantastic food, spectacular shows and each other's company. Use our guide below to make the most of your upcoming class or family reunion in Las Vegas.

Q: I'm meeting up with six of my buddies in Vegas - we're all married with kids, but want to have a respectably crazy Vegas weekend.

A Family Reunion in Las VegasA: Since you're only here for the weekend, here are some quick picks: Hit Napoleon's Cigar Bar/Lounge over at Paris Las Vegas. You can bring your own stogies or take your pick from their well-stocked humidor. For a bite to eat, the six of you must pull up a recliner at ESPN Zone and catch the games of the day or you can make your way over to Hawaiian Tropic Zone in the Miracle Mile Shops, where you can watch the game and enjoy the view of the bikini clad waitresses. Visit Stripsteak at Mandalay Bay for some fine dining and a hearty steak dinner. For your nighttime festivities, enjoy the titillating Fantasy or X Burlesque . Catch a comedy act if a night of laughs is more your game. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a few drinks and maybe some live music stop by Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville at the Flamingo. There is an outdoor balcony area where you can check out all the action on the Strip while sipping a specialty margarita. If you really want to let loose, head over to VooDoo Lounge at the Rio or Tao at the Venetian. They both have restaurants where you can have dinner and then party at the club afterwards to avoid waiting in line. For late night munchies, Vegas steak dinners are a must. And sometime during the weekend, make your way over to the Carnival World Buffet at the Rio - it has become a Vegas classic.

Are you and your buddies golf lovers? Of course you are. In between your shows and dinners, book a little tee time on one of Vegas' plentiful fairways.

Q: We are planning a family reunion in Vegas for 25 people, ages 15-74. What hotels and restaurants can accommodate us?

A: Twenty-five people? Wow! What an entourage. VEGAS.com can easily take care of you. Send all inquiries and requests to our group specialist. Now, regarding restaurants. Many people means many taste buds. First off, let's get the obvious out of the way: Buffet, buffet, buffet and more buffets. But don't despair. Buffets are not your only options. Here's a list of a few of the many restaurants that offer private dining or who cater to big groups at a good price: Bucca di beppo, Garduño's at the Palms, Prime at Bellagio, Regale at the Excalibur and Delmonico Steakhouse at the Venetian. Rub BBQ at the Rio is a great place for a large group to enjoy a hearty meal of mouth watering ribs and other traditional Southern favorites.

Q: I'm coming to Vegas with my girlfriends from high school. We want to go dancing, see a show, fancy dinners, shopping, maybe a spa. What do you suggest?

A Class Reunion in Las VegasA: Sounds like you want a fun-filled, all-out weekend . . . with a hint or relaxation, of course. Spend Friday night dancing at Mandalay Bay's House of Blues . Enjoy the pre-dancing hours sipping martinis at Red Square  at Mandalay Bay or taking in an early show of "O" at the Bellagio. The next day, get buffed, wrapped and massaged over at Canyon Ranch Spa  at the Venetian. It is the largest spa in town with 62 treatment rooms. If you are looking for something more intimate, visit the Spa at the MGM Grand. It's a feng-shui masterpiece, re-energizing you for dinner at the Palms' Little Buddha. For the after-dinner stop, make your way to I-Bar at the Rio. If you are up for another night of dancing head to Diablo's Cantina at the Monte Carlo. There is a restaurant downstairs and a bar up top where you can dance on the balcony while staying in tune with all the action on the Strip below. And to top the night off, share in the experience of keepsake mementos - get yourselves small, inconspicuous tattoos. Edit Text

So, you want to spend all your time partyin', eh? We salute you. Follow our plan and you'll have a weekend you'll never forget (or never remember).

Q: There's a bunch of us heading to Vegas for a wild weekend. What's the best place to stay?

A: Ah, you want atmosphere? We'll give you atmosphere. Stepping into the Rio is like a party in itself. All the rooms are suites here, so you and your buddies can hang out in style -- and be close to a number of great restaurants and bars. Another hotel conducive to the partier is the Hard Rock -- with all the rock stars, celebrities and party types, you'll feel right at home. You'll find this vibe at The Palms as well. If you have enough juice -- or more likely, cash -- you can book one of the Palms' Fantasy Suites, which offer such unrivaled amenities as a DJ booth, Show Shower™ (with stripper pole), rotating bed, walk-in closet or pool table.

Q: I'm looking for a nonstop party. This means no boring restaurants. Where should I go to eat?

A: Would we send you to a boring restaurant? Of course not. We've got just the thing -- Kahunaville at Treasure Island. Boy, is this place a treasure for partiers. There's flair bartenders and a party atmosphere throughout. You may never want to leave. Mr. Lucky's at the Hard Rock also is a great spot. You can sit and watch the world go by. Plus, it's open 24 hours. And it can get quite loud. Plus, for a restaurant where even the servers are having a great time partying it up, don't missDick's Last Resort at the Excalibur. Consider yourself warned though -- that one's not for the faint of heart!

Q: So, then, what are the hottest spots to party at?

A: Here are some absolute musts: Pure at Caesars Palace remains not only one of the top nightclubs in Vegas but also the world, drawing packed crowds and Hollywood's youngest and hottest stars every week. Its sister clubLAXnever fails to bring in the crowds, either. Tao at the Venetian is another celebrity favorite, offering a sharp contrast to Pure's Miami Beach-inspired design with a Zen-influenced setting. But don't let the statues of Buddha fool you -- when the club opens its doors, Tao is all about the party. Try the Palms, where the always-popular ghostbar overlooks the city from 55 stories high while Rain Las Vegas packs 'em in on the ground floor of the casino -- you'll catch some of the top rock 'n' roll acts performing here as well. You should also check out the wild Body English and Studio 54, modeled after the famous New York nightclub.

But wait, there's more: You can take advantage of our best connections at Coyote Ugly and many more.

Buy your general-admission, line and VIP passes online here at VEGAS.com. Just consider it our gift to you.

Q: Where are the after-hours clubs?

A: You couldn't call yourself an after-hours partier if you didn't hang out at Drai's.

Q: What's open 24 hours?

A: You're in Vegas, baby. The whole town is open 24 hours, but for a true Vegas party try Vegas' greatest dive, the Double Down serves you around the clock.

That should do ya. Of course, you'll always be able to, at any time, get a drink in the casino. And, hey, if you know ahead of time you're coming into town, check out our packages for the best rate on hotel rooms, airfare and more. It's guaranteed! Edit Text
